About Tïlfeldig Productions

"Tilfeldig Productions provides consultancy, delivers educational talks and seminars and provides partnership in the delivery of creative events in the context of disused buildings."

Tilfeldig Productions is a cutting edge, innovative and forward thinking not for profit creative constitution that produces creative events in abandoned buildings.

Tilfeldig consistently pushes the boundaries within arts and the environment, seeking to create dialogue within the role creativity plays in the everyday. Founded by Irene Rukerebuka in 2003, our aim is resurrect forgotten buildings in cities through providing thought provoking events installed within the interiors of a building.

Through educational programs, guerrilla marketing and interaction, we stem to inspire and challenge.

Tilfeldig Productions is an affiliation of Rant! Magazine and Porthouse space.

Chair/Founder:
Irene Rukerebuka

Irene is currently the owner of Rant publishing and the editor of Rant Magazine. Fascinated with the old and modern of what makes a city, Irene decided to produce something that would incorporate both her passions. She is also the curator of the critically acclaimed Porthouse space; another forward thinking concept, of producing exhibitions within your home setting. Irene has a passion and wide understanding of contemporary culture. Her natural skills in marketing, project management and research, brings a strong dimension to the company, as well as her relentless ambition.

Treasurer:
Eva Aftab

Having spent time working in Architectural practice in Cardiff, Eva is currently completing her 6th year of Architectural education in Manchester.  She brings a great knowledge of the built environment and the importance of its role in the community.  She sees Tilfeldig as an opportunity to create a dialogue between people and their environments.  Having spent time living in the USA and South Africa she is keen to see Tilfeldig develop internationally. Eva has taken part in the AIA (American Institute of Architects) student design charette held in London in 2002 and 2003 and was on the winning team for both years.
